The second call for applications of CSSB2 is now open

CSSB 2 provides support to Belarusian civil society organisations to enable them to continue their activities and to develop their capacities in support of democracy, human rights and the rule of law.  Special emphasis is put on new and innovative actions to this aim, as well as to enable Belarusian CSOs to use effectively and strategically international human rights mechanisms and instruments.

CSSB 2 also wants to raise awareness of the state of democracy, human rights and the rule of law in Belarus, both in the country and internationally, through the established independent media and through new innovative actions. Thereby, the aim is to attain a constant feed of analytical information as contents to the awareness building.

CSSB 2 is funded by international donors and managed by the Nordic Council of Ministers through its office in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Belarusian CSOs (Grant Scheme A) and independent media (Grant Scheme B) outlets may apply for funding online.
